About Fish & Seashells
Fish and seashells are two familiar elements of coastal ecosystems. Fish inhabit oceans, rivers, lakes, and other aquatic environments, displaying an enormous variety of shapes, colors, and patterns.
Seashells are the hard external coverings produced by many marine mollusks, including snails and clams. Once washed onto the shore, their varied shapes, textures, and colors become familiar treasures of the seaside.
Design Inspiration
This design was inspired by the little treasures you might discover while exploring the shoreline—a tiny fish, a shell, a starfish, and the soft colors of shallow seawater.
We combined these playful marine elements inside a rounded seashell-inspired silhouette, using translucent cellulose acetate to create a layered underwater effect. Small details such as the fish, pearls, and starfish add depth and make the piece feel like a miniature ocean scene you can wear.
